Samantha Walsh is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Registered Art Therapist.
Sam has experience in various clinical settings, including inpatient facilities, residential programs, and partial hospitalizations, bringing a wide range of experience to her treatment approach. Sam has worked with patients throughout the life span, such as children, adolescents, young adult and geriatrics. These settings have given her the opportunity to provide effective therapeutic interventions.
Sam is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional for Children and Adolescents (CCATP-CA), a Certified Child and Adolescent Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS-CA), an Art Therapist (ATR) and is a listed provider for the Tourette’s Association of America. Sam brings a unique approach to treatment with various therapeutic approaches to address the needs of everyone. She has specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Pediatric Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), and comprehensive behavioral Method(ComB). Sam offers support for clients facing anxiety, OCD, PANs/PANDAS, BFRB, Tourette's Syndrome, and somatic complaints.
Sam provides a nurturing and creative environment where clients can explore emotions, enhance coping skills, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. Sam’s therapeutic approach emphasizes the transformative power through art therapy and therapeutic play interventions, which allows patients to express themselves creatively while fostering self-awareness and healing.
Sam provides Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for young adults who are seeking treatment for anxiety, OCD, panic disorder and life skills. She guides young adults through various life obstacles, such as peer connection, school challenges, career exploration and family differences. Sam can offer the integration of the Christian faith into her clinical practice if requested.
Sam is an adjunct Psychology professor.
