Julia Salah is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
I also work in the Valley View school district with children and adolescents in elementary, middle, and high school. I received my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University.
Through my training and work, I have worked with individuals from a range of ages, backgrounds, and cultures. I use a variety of theoretical approaches to fit each individual. I believe in helping people find solutions by drawing from the strengths and skills they have been developing throughout their lives.
I offer a safe place that is free of judgment where clients can feel comfortable sharing their story. I use my training and experience to identify potential challenges and encourage clients to use their strengths to empower change. Starting therapy can be the first step on a journey of self-exploration.
Whether life seems hard to bear right now, or you are just noticing some things in your life that need to be addressed or explored, my goal is to walk alongside you with deep compassion and professional insight.
Accepts: BlueCross BlueShield and self-pay. Available Friday & Saturdays.
