Dan has several years of experience working with youth and adults in individual and group settings. Dan’s philosophy is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can be their authentic selves. He brings this experience to his work with adults who are experiencing anxiety, addiction, and depression and believes in working alongside clients and finding techniques to improve their well-being. Through relationship building and consistency, Dan has been able to connect and help clients from all walks of life, and helped them build healthy relationships with others.
Dan has worked for Youth Guidance since 2017, specifically the Becoming a Man (BAM) program. BAM utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and mentoring to assist students with the challenges of maturation throughout high school. Dan has coached football and basketball at the high school level, where he has guided students through the challenges of being a student-athlete. The exposure to this work has given Dan the desire to pursue a career in helping others be the best versions of themselves.
Dan is currently pursuing his master’s in social work (MSW) at Aurora University.
